Behold The Beloved Official Music Video for their song ‘POWEPLAY’

Powerplay was written as an encouraging, strong, empowering, anthem song.

The thought process of creating a hockey-based song and making it relatable to everyone regardless if they watch the sport, was the biggest task. Using analogies but not too many that it becomes cheesy or takes away from the ultimate meaning.

In hockey a powerplay is when one team gets a penalty and loses a player on the ice. Thus, the other team now has an extra player on the ice (5 on 4). This is our message. We as Christians have the upper hand on Satan. We have the extra man, and His name is Jesus. He died and rose again and put death in a box.

Even with that advantage Satan will still bring trials and hardships our way. He will come knocking at our door trying to steal our joy and our soul. It’s the game of life, a grudge match, being face to face against the enemy and all he brings.

Our encouragement is to not be scared and for the listener to keep their head up high knowing Yahweh is on their side. To push forward, wind up and fire back, for we have the power of the King of Kings on our side. It’s time we stand up and stand together and send a message to the enemy and quite frankly to this world we are in. We will not back down, we will not quit, we will fight for every inch.
