Idaho’s rising hard rock band, Silent Theory announces new album Tell Us How It Ends coming September 13th. The band will also release the third single from that album, “Emptiness In You” with a special music video premiere through revolver

Dakota Jerns shares: “‘Emptiness In You’ is about recognizing that someone may not have your best interests at heart and will manipulate you and convince you their way is right. Only too late, after they’ve taken everything, will you see that emptiness. This song is a reminder to learn from that memory and never let it happen again.”

Lyrics:
My frame is growing thin
My head is killing me
This memory doesn’t want to go away
(Go away)
It’s all but suffering
It’s nothing new to me
This memory never really goes away
(Goes away)
Will I be empty?
When will it leave me?
I don’t need closure
Can this be over?
(Can this be over?)
(Can this be over?)

I don’t know if I’m right
But this is eating me alive
I don’t know what else I can do
I know every lie
How can you look me in the eye?
Now I can see right through
The emptiness in you

I kept inhaling in
Wish for a better end
I hope this feeling never goes away
(Goes away)
Promise no mercy when
You plunge the dagger in
I hope this feeling always stays the same
(Stays the same)

I don’t know if I’m right
But this is eating me alive
I don’t know what else I can do
I know every lie
How can you look me in the eye?
Now I can see right through
The emptiness in you

The emptiness inside of you
The emptiness inside of you
It never goes away
(Goes away)
The emptiness inside of you
Probably better off as a memory saved
I can’t hear any words you say
Maybe I was just better this way

I don’t know if I’m right
But this is eating me alive
I don’t know what else I can do
I know every lie
How can you look me in the eye?
Now I can see right through
The emptiness in you
And I can see right through
The emptiness in you
